Website:  East Neuk Festival

Featuring:
Chris Stout fiddle
Catriona McKay harp
Nils ├śkland hardanger fiddle
Mats Eilertsen bass
Mr McFall's Chamber

A fantastic line up of musicians from Norway and Scotland join forces for an afternoon of cracking traditional tunes, reinventions, and the world premiere of Chrisalis by Henning Sommerro. Sommerro's music draws on traditional tunes and styles - he had a big hit with his collaboration with Aly Bain, Follow the Moonstone.

His new piece follows in the footsteps of the Crail weaver who relocated to Denmark in the 16th Century, and whose grandson became one of Denmark's most important poets.
